You Make My World Happy - Distressed

Hello Fellow Stampers,

Here I am with a Challenge Mashup for this weeks card. I've decided to combine a Runway Inspired Challenge with Lawn Scaping - Distress and Splitcoast Stampers - Sketch Challenge SC532. Here are the inspiration pieces:

NoNoo - Spring 2015
I wanted to create a card that had a lot of distressing to it which I thought would tie in well with her cosmic inspired dress. I created the pieces 2 through 4 using Tim Holtz Distress inks, water and stamp. I created texture by using embossing powder and molding paste.

AE, Lawn Scaping and Blog Named Hero Challenge Cards

Hello my Fellow Stampers,

I have recently gotten into Card Challenges. I had NO idea soooo many even existed. I love how these challenges can be combined and give you enough structure without limiting your creativity. This card was created using the guidelines provided by AEI♥U Challenge #22 - Stripes, Lawnscaping Challenge: Dots & Stripes, A Blog Named Hero - Bright

As you can tell from the links above the cards were made with bright colors, stripes and/ or dots. As I was creating this post and checking the challenge rules I realized that I didn't use an Avery Elle stamp!! DUH. I clearly created this card after a long day at work. No worries though I was able to make a nice smooth recovery!! On top of that I missed the Lawn Scaping Deadline - I'm really on a roll huh! I wanted to still list them sense they were a part of these cards' inspiration. Please check out this post for card number two! Please enjoy!

Lawn Scaping & A Blog Named Hero Challenge - Bight Colors and Dots

Hello my Fellow Stampers,

Here is my 2nd card using a similar theme which you can find here. This card was created using the guidelines provided by Lawn Scaping Challenge: Dots & Stripes and A Blog Named Hero - Bright

As you can tell from the links above the cards were made with bright colors and dots. Such a cute combination. Granted I missed the Lawn Scaping Deadline, yet the inspiration guide is still present. I didn't have the exact color pearls in my stash, so I colored some plain ones using Copic Markers. :) That's what I love about alcohol markers you can color pearls and clear gem creating just about every color under the rainbow! Enjoy the card!
XOXO ~ Nikki

RIC #79 - Oscars 2015

Hello Fellow Stampers!!!

The RIC #79 Challenge was in honor of the Oscars. They mixed up the rules and posted FIVE different Oscars Fabulous Fashion to inspire us. I'm going to try to create 5 different cards from each of the inspiration photos.
#1 Reese Weatherspoon - Black and White

Card #1: A simple, elegant card by using just three colors - black, white and gold. I've created what I feel is a sophisticated yet striking card. I was inspired to make this card after checking out Runway Inspired Challenge and Splitcoasterstampers (SC531).

Black, White & Gold Card

Hello Fellow Stampers!!!

I'm back with simple, elegant card by using just three colors - black, white and gold. I've created what I feel is a sophisticated yet striking card. I was inspired to make this card after checking out Runway Inspired Challenge and Splitcoasterstampers (3.11.15 - Sketch Challenge).
On My Mind: Black and White, Simon Says Stamps

The SCS - SC531 Challenge was a simple in theory design. However, I had difficulties matching the triangular sections up to create a perfect point. I didn't print out the picture because I figured I could match angles and points right the first time around! haha Well I didn't, but I didn't fret, instead I just worked with the angles that I had created.

RIC #78 - DKNY

Hello everyone,

I am here to submit my very first card into the Runway Inspired Challenge. This inspiration was this picture taken at a DKNY runway show.
I took my inspiration from the colors and lines. I hope you enjoy. :)
