The second card I made for my 10 Cards: 1 Kit Series, (which is using the Simon Says Stamp October 2017 Card Kit) is all about a Clean and Simple (CAS) look.

Hello Crafty Friends, Do you ever make a card, mixed media project, art journaling page, scrapbook layout or any other crafty project that seem to just exceed your expectations? I must admit that is how I felt when I stood back and admired my blue Monochromatic Christmas card that I am entering into Merry Monday Christmas Challenge and the LAST Mojo Monday sketch challenge. (I am so sad to hear that Mojo Monday is closing it's site but I understand that Julie must do what's right for her and her family. I wish her nothing but the best.) I wanted to walk you through how to make this card. This quick card can be done easily in 20 minutes. Building up the background is the longest part! Check the bottom of the post to see the completed card!
Hey fellow crafters, How are we doing this fine day? I am here to bring you a great One Layer-esque Card. All stamps are from Hero Arts. I like the sliver of blue showing on the outside of the card it's just enough to tie back into bird. I used all Distress Inks to stamp the layered images and the frame. Hey crafty friends, I hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend. Today's forecast is all about clouds and rain but at least the weekend was nice! I have a great 10 minutes or less card for you today. A few outline stamps, a bold sentiment and two pattern papers is all you really need.
I am submitting this card into Paper Smooches: May Challenge which is Flowers. I got the layout idea from the Kraftin' Kimmie Monthly Sketch Challenge.
Hello my fellow crafters, Can you believe we are almost half way through 2017!!!! *o* I hope this year has been going well for you. As for myself? I've been plagued with some health issues. I won't bore you with all the details but it's been a hard 6+ months for me. I am starting to feel like my normal self one day at a time which means I am finally getting back into crafting and creating. At least I had to YouTube to fill my crafting hunger! :) Since, I had so much time on my hands I decided to check out some great craft and card challenges online. I made a document that broke down monthly and day specific challenges. Along with the rules and key things to know about each challenge. All these awesome challenges out there got my wheels spinning. Why not create a personal challenge for myself to combine 3 challenges in ONE card project. I'm calling it the Card Challenge Mash Up!
