Hey crafty friends,
I hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend. Today's forecast is all about clouds and rain but at least the weekend was nice!
I have a great 10 minutes or less card for you today. A few outline stamps, a bold sentiment and two pattern papers is all you really need.
I am submitting this card into Paper Smooches: May Challenge which is Flowers. I got the layout idea from the Kraftin' Kimmie Monthly Sketch Challenge.
Hello my fellow crafters,
Can you believe we are almost half way through 2017!!!! *o*
I hope this year has been going well for you. As for myself? I've been plagued with some health issues. I won't bore you with all the details but it's been a hard 6+ months for me. I am starting to feel like my normal self one day at a time which means I am finally getting back into crafting and creating. At least I had to YouTube to fill my crafting hunger! :)
Since, I had so much time on my hands I decided to check out some great craft and card challenges online. I made a document that broke down monthly and day specific challenges. Along with the rules and key things to know about each challenge. All these awesome challenges out there got my wheels spinning.
Why not create a personal challenge for myself to combine 3 challenges in ONE card project. I'm calling it the Card Challenge Mash Up!
Hi Crafty Friends,
Sometimes, a card doesn't need a big focal image to be impactful. Sometimes, the small images on a stamp sets is all that you need. That's what I did on this card using Paper Smooches, Friendly Flowers. I rounded up 6 small stamps to create my own patterned paper which I always enjoy because I get the freedom to make what I know I will use!
The simple outline on the images combined with a solid blue rectangle with rounded edges set off the large patterned banner. I simple sentiment gets straight to the point.
Hi Crafters,
With life continually throwing me curve balls. It's been hard to craft. I have recently had to move and I wasn't able to take NEARLY as much supplies as I would've liked to. I tried to focus on those stamp sets that were pretty universal. I had lost my crafty mojo dealing with life.
I recently started to look back into craft challenges, which is always a good way to get those creative juices flowing again. I was able to get back into crafty things, thanks to this cute little card using the Wild Thang stamp set from Tiddly Inks.

I wanted to create a card that had a lot of distressing to it which I thought would tie in well with her cosmic inspired dress. I created the pieces 2 through 4 using Tim Holtz Distress inks, water and stamp. I created texture by using embossing powder and molding paste.
