#CardChallengeMashUp Number 1

Hello my fellow crafters,

Can you believe we are almost half way through 2017!!!! *o*

I hope this year has been going well for you. As for myself? I've been plagued with some health issues. I won't bore you with all the details but it's been a hard 6+ months for me. I am starting to feel like my normal self one day at a time which means I am finally getting back into crafting and creating. At least I had to YouTube to fill my crafting hunger! :)

Since, I had so much time on my hands I decided to check out some great craft and card challenges online. I made a document that broke down monthly and day specific challenges. Along with the rules and key things to know about each challenge. All these awesome challenges out there got my wheels spinning.

Why not create a personal challenge for myself to combine 3 challenges in ONE card project. I'm calling it the Card Challenge Mash Up!

Using the List Randomizer (containing Monthly Challenges) from Random.org the Top 2* will be combined with One other Challenge. I personally created another separate list that was entered into Random.org.  *If two of the challenges are company specific as the focus, run the randomizer again until you get a non-company specific challenge.

List Randomizer Picked the Following: Scrapper's Delight Challenge, Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge and Simon Says Stamp: Monday Challenge

Scrapper's Delight Challenge: Anything Goes

Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge: Ribbon or Lace
Simon Says Stamp: Monday Challenge: Home Sweet Home

Here is what I made for my FIRST Card Challenge Mash Up

Card Challenge Mash Up #1, Scrapper's Delight

Card Challenge Mash Up #1 Close Up, Scrapper's Delight

This "masculine" feeling card took less than 15 minutes to put together! I used a FREE** digital stamp from Scrapper's Delight. I colored the digital image using my Prismacolor colored pencils. The patterned paper came from My Mind's Eye. I used a small geometric stamp for Simon Says Stamp, Birthday Bits stamp set. The Sentiment is from My Favorite Things. **Digital Stamp was free at the time of this post

I will also be entering this card into Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge.

  2. What an absolutely clever way to interpret our Home Sweet Home theme! I love the imagery of the keys and how it brings to mind so many happy memories. I also love the background and how it works so well with the key image. You did an amazing job on this and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

  3. Really love your project. It is even more fun because I have one of the papers you used.
